This is seems to be a crowd favorite on my page. I have both of my cars, the Prelude and Camaro,
doing burnouts.
Now I just need to do a burnout with my truck!
Yes, I do drive P.O.S.'s, but I don't really care. I also have some friends cars and a couple
of submissions from viewers just like you. So you got some burnouts?
Send em' in! Just don't
forget the mug shot.

More Burnouts...
Send me your burnouts!!
If you have any good pictures of your own car smokin' the tires,
send them to me and maybe I'll post them here.
Send a picture of yourself too if you want that with your burnout photos. If you don't think
your car can do a burn out, read on:
Burnout Tips
If you have a front wheel drive car, you probably make less torque than a rear wheel drive car, but you have an advantage; the parking brake. Set the parking brake as hard as you can to lock up the rear tires and keep you in place. If you have a rear wheel drive car, you gonna have to hold the foot brake if you want to do this without actually launching at the same time. You'll have to find the right balance of pedal pressure to keep the car in place, but still let the rear tire spin. Fortunately brake bias will favor the front wheels and let the rear tires give way a bit easier.
Now, if you have an automatic transmission, put 1 foot on the brake, and 1 on the accelerator, and press them both to the floor. This will "stall" the torque converter, giving you better torque multiplication. Now let go of the brake and keep the accelerator floored. Hopefully the tires will brake loose and you'll start burnin! If you have a manual, just rev it up and pop the clutch. If you want to keep it in place, get on the brake real quick before the car takes off.
Other Tricks: Lube the wheels! It'll make it much easier to brake the tires loose if you don't have the raw horsepower to do it dry. Water will work, but bleach works even better. Soappy water will work better than just plain water if you don't have any bleach handy.
