Prima Facie Speed Limit

By exceeding a posted or statuatory prima facie speed limit, a motorist is presumed guilty of speeding. However, if a motorist can prove that the speed travled was reasonable and prudent, the morotist could be found not guilty.

Driver License Compact

If you recieve a ticket, warning, etc. in another state and your state is a member, you state will be norified about the ticket.

Nonresident Compact

Nonresident motorist receiving a ticket in a member state will recieve the same treatment as resident motorists. If your state or the state you recieve a ticket in is not a member, you may have to pay a cash bond before you can continue your trip.
